The official synopsis for the flick is as follows: Back in 2020, Stan signed a multi-year agreement with NBCUniversal that saw the former act as the Australian streaming distributor for a number of Peacock Originals. This has seen Stan become the place to stream series like Rutherford Falls, Brave New World and Bel-Air. This deal is set to expire in 2023 with Stan missing out on a second run with the rights. In the future, it looks like Foxtel and Binge will be the place to look when it comes to Peacock Originals. Despite this, Stan is still the place to look if you’re keen to stream Rian Johnson’s first take on TV. All told, the first season of the Peacock Original Series Poker Face will consist of 10 episodes. The first four episodes of the series dropped on the 27th of January, with the following six episodes airing one per week for the six weeks thereafter. It’s not yet known whether the series will be renewed, or even if it’s intended to live as a limited miniseries rather than something more serialized. We’ll have to wait and see.
