fuboTV has more sports channels than any other live TV streaming service (or any TV service, for that matter), and its channel lineup also includes channels for kids, entertainment, lifestyle, and news. If you’re shopping for a new streaming service or looking to get rid of cable TV, fuboTV is a solid choice. We’ll go over all of the fuboTV details to find out if this is your next live TV service. With YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV, you’re paying about 75 cents to $1 per channel, and they’re only in the 85-channel range. fuboTV is up there in our book because there’s no other streaming service in the industry that gives you more than 140 channels for $75, more than 200 channels for $85, or more than 215 channels for $95. But before you make the leap with fuboTV, jump down below to the channels section or take a look at the full channel lineup as fuboTV does have some fluff channels. Now, fuboTV charges an $9 regional sports fee! No other live TV streaming service has a regional sports fee (and we hope this isn’t the beginning). When you upgrade to the Elite package, you’ll get 205 channels, which includes more news, lifestyle, and sports channels, such as CNBC World and NBA TV. And if you want the most channels fuboTV offers, the Ultimate plan includes niche news channels (like Bloomberg TV+) SHOWTIME channels. fuboTV’s Pro package includes the following channels: But we do like the idea of getting SHOWTIME, STARZ, and MGM+ for $20 and saving $6 per month though. That’s $72 per year that can go toward your Christmas shopping. At least HBO Max has its own app, so you’ll just have to get that streaming service separate from this live TV provider to watch Euphoria. This is where you’ll find your national and international sports channels all in one place. You also have the option to add NBA Leauge Pass to your service. With the Pro plan, you’ll get close to 40 sports channels (including beIN and TUDN channels). But we recommend upgrading to the Elite plan to access close to 50! The Premier package has the same sports channels as the Elite. Sports channels included in the fuboTV Pro plan are the following: You might like to watch Moneyball, Modern Family, or America’s Got Talent, while the kids watch Baby Einstein Classics or Doc McStuffins. Let me explain. All 10 family members can stream on their own device at once while at home. This means if your Dad is streaming at home and you want to stream while at the airport … no can do. We should also mention that fuboTV suggests you have at least a 20 Mbps internet connection for a clear and consistent stream. (Not sure what internet speed you have? Test it out with our tool.) If you need reliable internet, check out our top internet provider picks for streaming. The Latino plan has 250 hours of DVR storage and the Pro, Elite and Premier plans give you 1,000. Behind YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV, that’s the most storage space any live TV streaming service offers. Keep in mind that the 1,000 hours is divided between all profiles. So if you and three roommates are using one account, you might have to inform the others that they shouldn’t go over 250 DVR storage hours. But this is still enough DVR storage space that won’t limit how many soccer games, movies, and cooking shows you record, and they’ll be saved for forever (or until you delete them). This is similar to other live TV streaming services in the industry. The Sports tab first recommends featured sports shows and events. When you scroll down, you’ll find a mini guide with only sports channels. What we really like is the fact that you can either use the drop-down menu to find a specific sport, or you have those handy subtabs at the top to take you to content for soccer, football, golf, racing, and other sports. fuboTV’s Guide is the best in the industry, and we’ll highlight why:
There is a convenient drop-down menu on the left to change the date. Below that, fuboTV has a menu to choose a genre of channels to easily get to a channel you’re in the mood for. If you’re looking for a specific channel, fuboTV has a channel search bar at the top to get to your favorite channel within a few seconds. And last but not least, when you hover over the programming, a Record button conveniently pops up.
YouTube TV and Hulu Live both don’t have a search bar in its Library. Hulu Live organizes its recordings by TV Shows, Movies, Sports, etc. and YouTube TV doesn’t lay out all of your recordings on one screen. Instead, you have to scroll to the right as if you were browsing “Recommended TV Shows”. If you answered yes to all of these questions, fuboTV is worth it for you. These are the reasons why we recommend each of the three fuboTV plans:
Pro: This plan is perfect for most families with over 140 channels for kids, news, sports, and lifestyle. You’ll get 1,000 DVR storage hours, ten at-home simultaneous streams, and lots of on-demand content for $75 per month. The only reason we wouldn’t recommend this plan is if you’d like more sports, news, and SHOWTIME channels. Elite: For just $10 more, this plan is for the fans who can’t miss an NBA game on NBA TV. It’s for those who want to watch the Astros fight for another World Series on MLB Network. It’s for the fans who want to watch all of their Boston Bruins games on NHL Network. And it’s for the lifestyle and entertainment fans who need the Cooking Channel, Game Show Network, and People TV. This one’s for you. Premier: We recommend upgrading to the Premier plan if you’re already going to order SHOWTIME. You’ll get over 215 channels, and it’ll be worth the $95 per month if you like Super Pumped, George & Tammy, and extra news channels.
If you’re still unsure if this is the live TV streaming service for you, we recommend checking out YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, or Sling TV. Our reviews cover everything you need to know, like channel lineups, DVR’s, and pricing.
